MANILA — Comedy superstar Vice Ganda has fueled excitement among fans after teasing that his late-night talk show "Gandang Gabi Vice," more popularly known as "GGV," is set to return to television.
Vice made the revelation during his appearance as the celebrity guest at Inkblots, a campus journalism fellowship hosted by The Varsitarian, the official student publication of the University of Santo Tomas.
Though brief, Vice’s statement was enough to send fans and netizens into full speculation mode.
“Ay abangan niyo, kasi magbabalik na’ng 'GGV,'” Vice told the audience, drawing cheers from attendees and quickly igniting buzz online.
Adding to the excitement, ABS-CBN recently shared a throwback clip from "GGV" on its social media platforms, prompting a wave of nostalgic reactions from viewers who expressed how much they missed the show.
“Sana ibalik ang GGV, nakakawalang stress!!!” one social media user commented.
Another wrote: “Nakaka-miss ang GGV, talagang inaabangan ko ’yan dati kahit mapuyat pa.”
Despite the growing excitement and Vice’s confirmation that the show is making a comeback, no further details have been announced regarding the show’s official return date, format or platform.
