Actress Ivana Alawi had fans buzzing after candidly sharing details about her kissing scenes with co-star Joshua Garcia in their teleserye "Love Is Never Gone," admitting that their final scenes together were especially intense.
In an interview during her launch as a beauty care brand model, Alawi revealed that her busy taping schedule has led her to slightly scale back on her vlog uploads as she prioritizes finishing the series.
“Mababawasan po ng very light 'yung vlog kasi ang hirap mag-taping and ang hirap mag-vlog, ang hirap ipagsabay nung dalawa. Priority ko pa rin naman sa ngayon na tapusin 'yung teleserye,” she said.
Alawi then amused reporters as she recalled their last scenes together, playfully calling out Garcia for how immersive he was during their kissing scene.
“Naku, 'yung last scenes namin! Grabe pala siya, higop king! Grabe! ’Yun 'yung last scene namin,” she shared, laughing.
Asked if she had any idea that Garcia would be that intense during their kissing scenes, Alawi admitted she was caught off guard.
“Hindi ko alam kaya nga sinabi ko sa kanya, ‘Grabe ka naman!’ Sabi niya, ‘Humigop ba?’ Uy, grabe,” she said.
Despite the kilig moments on set, Alawi stressed that professionalism always comes first, even if there’s a real-life crush involved.
“Syempre crush ko ’yun! Pero professional pa rin,” she added.
