Carlo Aquino and Jasmine Curtis-Smith headline Netflix's upcoming film "The Time That Remains," which follows the love story between an aging woman and an immortal man.

The feature's logline reads: "An elderly woman and her immortal lover risk exposure when a retiring detective investigates a series of deaths tied to their past."

The newly released trailer on Netflix Philippines' YouTube channel introduces Aquino's character: a man who hints at having lived for a long time and seeks someone who can accept him without fear, a connection he seems to find in Curtis-Smith's character.

The trailer then shifts to reveal that Curtis-Smith's character has aged, now portrayed by Bing Pimentel, while a man, played by Bembol Roco, grows suspicious of their mysterious relationship.

The film, scheduled for release on October 16, also features Beauty Gonzalez.

"The Time That Remains" is directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. and written by Mixkaela Villalon.

Aquino is currently starring in ABS-CBN's local adaptation of the South Korean drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," where he appears alongside Curtis-Smith's older sister, Anne Curtis.
