After being confirmed as part of the final cast of the latest installment of the iconic Pinoy horror movie franchise Shake, Rattle, & Roll this year, kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi could not hide her excitement and gratitude after being cast in one of the lead roles in their episode.
“I’m a huge fan of Shake, Rattle, & Roll. Sinabi ko talaga sa kanila nung in-offer nila sa akin yung role na yes! Kahit hindi ko alam yung role at yung story, yes! Kasi growing up, mahilig talaga ako sa horror movies. Lahat ng horror movies pinapanuod ko and of course, Shake, Rattle, & Roll is Pilipino. Dapat proud ka kasi Pilipino horror movie and I’m very grateful because it’s also my first time doing a horror movie under Regal and I’m excited to work with everybody. Excited ako. Thank you again for this opportunity,” she said.

During the story conference for the Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Evil Origins held at the Regal Entertainment compound in San Juan, Ivana explained why she was excited to be cast alongside Richard Gutierrez and Manilyn Reynes in this new project.
“First time ko si Richard makakatrabaho. Pinapanuod ko lang siya dati. Sabi ko wow, nakaka-excite. Si Ms. Manilyn naman, kasi katrabaho siya ng kapatid ko, si Mona. So kilalala ko na siya and mabait siya talaga, kinukuwento sa akin ni mama at ni Mona. And finally makaka-work ko siya. Of course pinapanuod ko rin siya sa Shake, Rattle, & Roll. Napakahusay niya,” she explained.
Still known as one of the country’s undisputed top content creators, the popular YouTuber also shared with PUSH ABS-CBN what she has in store for her fans for the rest of the year, “Naku, marami. Maraming pasabog. Meron kaming una, yung bagong teleserye. Meron ding new movie, and tuloy tuloy pa rin yung mga vlogs.”
Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Evil Origins stars Ivana Alawi, Richard Gutierrez, Manilyn Reynes, Dustin Yu, Angelica Lao, Maika Rivera, and Raven Rigor as Regal Entertainment’s official entry to the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival which opens on December 25.
