The Honmoon is alive and well, as Netflix declared "KPop Demon Hunters" its most-watched original animated film of all time.
The streaming giant made the announcement on Wednesday through its social media pages.
"It's their moment! 'KPop Demon Hunters' is Netflix's most-watched original animated film of all time," the company wrote in the post.
Netflix, however, did not immediately provide streaming figures.
The announcement came as the film's popularity continued to surge, with its soundtrack holding the No. 3 spot on the latest Billboard 200 albums chart.
The film's soundtrack peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart on July 19, marking the highest position for any soundtrack in 2025. It also stands as the highest-charting animated film soundtrack since "Encanto" reached No. 1 in 2022.
The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines has capitalized on the film's popularity by launching a program that unpacks the cultural references embedded in the feature, engaging Filipino audiences more deeply.
Released in June, "KPop Demon Hunters" follows the K-pop girl group Huntrix, who lead double lives as demon slayers, as they battle a rival boy band whose members are secretly demons.

The film features the voices of Arden Cho, Ejae, Ahn Hyo-seop, Andrew Choi, May Hong, Audrey Nuna, Ji-young Yoo, Rei Ami, Joel Kim Booster, Kevin Woo, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, Lee Byung-hun and Lea Salonga, among others.
