After a successful and trending season, the Kapamilya Big 4 of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition—Brent Manalo, Ralph De Leon, Esnyr Ranollo, and River Joseph—received a warm homecoming celebration from the Kapamilya network on Tuesday, July 15.
Held at the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City, the four PBB Collab housemates walked the red carpet and were welcomed by ABS-CBN executives led by COO Cory Vidanes, Head of Entertainment Production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, Chief Financial Officer Rick Tan, Jr., and Digital Head Jamie Lopez. ABS-CBN employees also joined the celebration, honoring the inspiring journeys and victories of the housemates inside the iconic yellow house.
During the event, Brent, Ralph, Esnyr, and River took time to interact with ABS-CBN staff, answering questions and reminiscing about their experiences inside the house.
River Joseph, who finished as the 4th Big Placer alongside AZ Martinez, reflected on how his optimistic attitude helped him overcome challenges.
“Siguro sa loob ng bahay I feel like I got to use it sa tasks yung mga pinagdaanan ko sa buhay, sa mga challenges na naranasan ko. Really inside the house, mahirap talaga yung tasks, mahirap yung ginagawa namin sa buhay pero mas may mahirap pa sa buhay, may mga harder challenge pa outside kaya nakayanin namin harapan ang mga challenges sa loob ng bahay,” River said.
Esnyr Ranollo, this season’s 3rd Big Placer with Charlie Fleming, shared which character from his school multiverse he would like to pair up as a final duo partner.
“Gusto kay Precious, same kami ng kagandahan, same kami ng personality at same kami ng mahal kaya si Precious ang duo ko at feeling ko magiging Big Winner kaming dalawa,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, “Saing King” Ralph De Leon likened his PBB journey to cooking rice. Ralph won as 2nd Big Placer alongside Will Ashley.
“Siguro yung pagsasaing talaga it takes time. Parang it will take a lot of time pero ang ganda naman ng kinalabasan. Parang in perfect time, lalo lalambot ang kanin, just like our PBB journey,” he said.
Brent Manalo, the Big Winner, expressed pride in being the Kapamilya representative, sharing the core value that helped him reach the top. He was paired was Kapuso’s Big Winner Mika Salamanca.
“Bilang Kapamilya, since nagsimula talaga ako as Kapamilya, ang pinakaimportante na natutunan ko is to put my whole heart to it and ang nagpanalo sa akin, sa tingin ko ay puso ko talaga kasi kapag Kapamilya nangingibaw ang puso.” he expressed.
The four housemates also offered advice to aspiring future PBB contestants.
“Find people who you are comfortable with kasi sa loob ng bahay wala kang choice kung hindi makisama at makipagkwentuhan sa kapwa housemate. There, you’ll find really those comfort people na kailangan mo. You will find people who you’ll find comfort with. Kailangan niyo yun na magsama kasi you will not be able to win that journey alone,” they shared.
In a separate interview with ABS-CBN News, the Big 4 expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support they've received after their four-month stay inside the house.
“Pagkatapos ng Bahay ni Kuya, kami super busy pero kahit busy kami we got to see each other almost everyday,” River shared.
For Esnyr, he said, “Medyo nakaadjust na po and nakarefresh na po kami. Super blessed po kami and super happy.”
Ralph noted how they still feel overwhelmed by the outpouring of fan support.
“The main thing now is a lot of people talaga na we are encountering, na sumasalubong sa amin. Nakaka-overwhelm pa rin hanggang ngayon. We are so grateful and we used to pray at times like this and now andito na siya,” he expressed.
Brent echoed the same sentiments, saying, “Honestly, until now, hindi pa rin. Yung amount of support na narereceive namin, hindi namin ini-expect na mangyayari sa amin. Itong Kapamilya Homecoming na ito hindi namin ineexpect na mangyayari. We just wanna say thank you for everyone for showing up and showing their support.”
The Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition Big 4 duos alongside former housemates are now preparing for their upcoming fan event, The Big ColLove FanCon, happening on August 10 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
