Kapamilya actor Ralph de Leon explained why he chose Kapuso actor Will Ashley as his final duo during the recently concluded Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week, the High Street actor shared how easy it was for him to choose Will as he’s someone very close to his heart.
Ralph and Will, also known as RaWi, were the 2nd Big Placers after earning 25.88% of the total votes.

Prior to being evicted back in May, Ralph shared that they already had plans on becoming the final duos for the season. Viewers of the program shared on social media how the Kapamilya actor had an advantage after seeing the outside world then returning as a wildcard in the show.
“Actually, bago po ako maevict, ang huling bilin niya sa akin was that hindi ako pwede lumabas kasi hindi pa kami nag duduo,” he explained.
Despite this, he expressed how Will has just been a constant part of his life inside the PBB house which was why it was a no-brainer for him when he had the opportunity to choose his final duo.
“Will is someone very close to my heart lalo na po sa loob ng Bahay. He’s been a constant, he’s been someone I could run to when I have problems or when I just want to talk about anything–– siya po talaga tinatakbuhan ko,” he shared.
The Kapamilya actor maintained how comfortable Will is for him and was a big factor in deciding his final duo. A lot of the fans were shocked with his decision as they wanted to see him as a duo with AZ Martinez.
“That was really something that played a really big factor sa pagpili ko ng final duo. I wanted someone who I was really comfortable with and we also had plans before of becoming final duos na baka hindi nakita ng mga tao sa labas,” he added.

Meanwhile, Will also admitted that he would still choose Ralph if given the chance.
“Ralph po talaga pipiliin ko kasi kagaya ng sinabi ni Ralph, naging palagay din yung loob namin sa isa’t-isa. At kung pipili man ako ng magiging final duo, gusto ko yung tao na magiging komportable ako at alam kong magiging maganda yung dynamics namin,” he expressed.
