When South Korean actress Kim Da-mi first read the script for her latest series, “Nine Puzzles,” she said she finished it in “one sitting,” describing the story as an “immersive ride.”
The crime thriller, which premiered May 21 on Disney+, features Da-mi as a criminal profiler who teams up with a detective (played by Son Suk-ku) despite their fraught history, to solve a string of murders connected by cryptic puzzle pieces.

“I hope the Filipino fans will also feel what I felt while reading the script as they watch the show,” Da-mi said via an interpreter in a recent Zoom interview with ABS-CBN News.
In the interview, Da-mi and her co-stars Son Suk-ku, Kim Sung-kyun, and Hyun Bong-sik discuss what sets “Nine Puzzles” apart from other crime dramas and share insights into their characters.
