Manny Pacquiao joins 'Physical: Asia.' Photos courtesy of NetflixFilipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is set to join "Physical: Asia," the upcoming new installment of Netflix's Korean reality competition series "Physical: 100," the streamer announced Tuesday.
Pacquiao represents the Philippines in "Physical: Asia," which serves as the third season in the "Physical: 100" franchise.
But unlike past seasons, which featured only athletes and other competitors from South Korea, "Physical: Asia" expands the contest to include contestants from across Asia.

In a press release, Netflix also explained that "Physical: Asia" is a team competition, meaning "if a single teammate falls, the entire squad is eliminated."
"Pacquiao, revered worldwide as the only boxer in history to acquire titles in eight weight divisions, brings his formidable talent and indomitable spirit to this team-based clash of champions," Netflix said.
Netflix also shared photos of Pacquiao and his wife, Jinkee, at an airport, heading to the show's filming location.
"Physical: Asia" is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to Netflix.
The first season of "Physical: 100," which dropped in 2023, captivated viewers worldwide, making history as the first Korean reality series to top Netflix's Global Top 10 Non-English TV Series list.
