Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta Maria shared that she just wrapped up filming for the upcoming movie, Edjop. In her Instagram post, the Lavender Fields star expressed the learnings she had while making the film.
Jodi plays the role of Joyette Jopson–– the daughter of Edgar Jopson.

In her post, she included some behind the scenes of their successful filming in Japan. She shared how giving life to the character of Joyette and filming the movie “was an experience like no other.”
“Filming Edjop was an experience like no other. This film pushed me in ways I didn’t expect — physically, emotionally, mentally,” she wrote.
Jodi admitted that the filming of the highly-anticipated movie was like a “rollercoaster” with the different emotions she felt. Despite this, she acknowledged that all of these emotions had a purpose that would help the film.
“There were moments — a lot of moments actually of physical exhaustion, deep reflection, and a laughter in between takes. Rollercoaster di ba? Pero ang pinaka-importante, there was purpose,” she added.

Above all, Jodi expressed her pride in being part of the film as it not only tells one's history but something more that everyone could look forward to.
“This project was more than just a film — it was a lesson in history, resilience, and courage. Proud and grateful to be part of this,” she ended.
Friends and fans of Jodi took to the comment section to congratulate her for finishing the filming safely. Some netizens expressed how excited they are for the film and the role of Jodi’s character.

Apart from Jodi, Edjop will also star Elijah Canlas and Cedric Juan, among others. The film will feature the life of Edgar Jopson, a Filipino activist who was killed in 1982 at the height of Martial Law.
