MANILA -- A public teacher from Sultan Kudarat, Mindanao won the ₱1-million jackpot from the "Laro Laro Pick" segment of ABS-CBN's noontime program "It’s Showtime" on Friday, December 5.
Angela, who teaches Music Arts and Physical Education, took on the contest's "Pot" question about the "Showtime" host whose real first name is Herminio.
She won P1 million pesos giving the correct answer -- Ogie Alcasid.
"Thank you po sa 'It's Showtime.' Thank you kay Lord, ginawa niyang instrumento ang 'It's Showtime' para ma-answer po lahat ng prayers ko," Angela said.

Before answering the final question, Angela, a "solid Showtimer," admitted that she is a fan of Alcasid, whose real name is Herminio Alcasid Jr..

Just last Thursday, Disyang a quake victim from Cebu, also won the P1 million jackpot from the "Laro Laro Pick."
Aside from Disyang, other contestants or madlang players of Laro Laro Pick also took home money after the hosts of "It's Showtime" decided to give them P1 million. The madlang players were victims of quake and typhoon from Cebu and Negros Occidental.
