On Tuesday, Prime Video Philippines unveiled the first trailer for "Newtopia," which is set to premiere on its platform on February 7.
The drama follows Lee Jae-yoon (Jeong-min) and Kang Young-joo (Jisoo), a couple racing to reunite as a zombie outbreak engulfs Seoul, which begins just after their sudden breakup.
The trailer opens with Jae-yoon on a phone call with Young-joo, who tells him, "How about we take some time apart?".
The rest of the video shows Jae-yoon with his fellow soldiers and Young-joo, each navigating the city while trying to escape from and battle zombies.
Jeong-min is an award-winning actor best known for his roles in acclaimed films such as "Deliver Us from Evil" and "Smugglers." He has also starred in the web dramas "Hellbound" and "The 8 Show."
Meanwhile, Jisoo debuted as a member of the girl group Blackpink and has also pursued a career in acting, earning her first lead role in the 2021 romance series "Snowdrop."
