SB19 has officially announced their upcoming appearance at Summer Sonic, which is set to take place on August 15 in Tokyo, Japan.
The group joins the lineup of international artists like Alex Warren, David Byrne, and Suede, strengthening their growing presence on the international music scene.
In an Instagram post, SB19 excitedly shared the news with their fans, writing, “A’TIN, where to next? Next destination: SUMMER SONIC 2026 in Japan ☀️🇯🇵. We are so hyped to announce that we’ll be coming to SUMMER SONIC this August!”
The announcement excited fans, who are eager to see the group perform on an international stage once again.
The post quickly drew reactions online, with fans filling the comment section with messages of support and Filipino pride.

The group’s latest announcement also comes as they gear up for the release of their new album, Wakas at Simula, on Friday, March 27. The album will feature six new tracks, along with all 18 songs from their EP trilogy, including Pagsibol, Pagtatag, and Simula at Wakas, highlighting the group’s evolving sound in one expansive release.

The Kings of P-pop also continue to bring pride to OPM through their growing list of international appearances, including joining the platform Weverse alongside Nation’s Girl Group BINI.
SB19 is also set to make history as the first P-pop group to perform at Lollapalooza. The annual music festival will run from July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park in Chicago.

On Instagram, Lollapalooza shared the full artist lineup for its 2026 edition, featuring a diverse mix of global acts. Among those included are Olivia Dean, Charli XCX, Tate McRae, Jennie of BLACKPINK, Lorde, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The xx.
