MANILA — SB19 has revealed the tracklist of “Wakas at Simula,” its upcoming full-length album arriving March 27 and marking the close of its trilogy era.
The 24-track album which is five years in the making, features songs from its trilogy EPs "Pagsibol," "Pagtatag" and "Simula at Wakas." It also has new six songs including ”Memories,” “Everblack,” “Wakas,” its newest release "VISA," and collaborations with C-Pop JOLIN for the song “Emoji” and Japanese boy band Be:First on “Toyfriend.”
Composed of Stell, Pablo, Josh, Felip, and Justin, SB19 shared that "Wakas at Simula" is also a celebration of what they achieved in the music scene.
"In the beginning, we were focused on finding our place, building our identity, and earning people's trust. This album honors that journey while also guiding us into a more grounded and international version of SB19," the group said in a press statement.
The group said that with the new full-length album, they are learning to take bolder steps and be more confident.
"Our years of experience have given us the confidence to create and share what we feels true to us, even we are still growing. At the same time, this marks a new beginning. We hope to express ourselves more openly, explore deeper and more relatable themes, and move forward with clarity, care and creative freedom, ready to face new challenges together," SB19 added.
Last January, SB19 released "Simula at Wakas: Kickoff Concert Album, a live recording of tracks from their two-day concert at the Philippine Arena in May 2025.
The “Simula at Wakas” EP completed the group’s EP trilogy, which began with “Pagsibol” and continued with “Pagtatag.”
The release of the new album will culminate in the major concert "Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale" on April 18 at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
Last week, March 17, SB19 surprised fan as it announced its participation in the upcoming Lollapalooza 2026 in Grant Park, Chicago, becoming the first Filipino act to join the festival’s lineup.
