Content creator Toni Fowler has undergone breast implant removal surgery after having her implants for 10 years.
In her latest vlog, Toni documented the procedure and her recovery, giving followers an honest look at why she decided it was finally time to part with the implants that had become a recognizable part of her image throughout her years as a content creator.
According to Toni, the implants were originally due for removal in May because it had already expired, however, she wanted to celebrate her “ten years of relevance” with the implants still in place because they had been part of her journey as a content creator.
"Inuna ko muna 'yung ten years of relevance na celebration ko with the ToRo family," she said. "Inuna ko muna 'yung mga trabaho ko, 'yung mga dapat kong tapusin, bago talaga ako magpa-opera."
She eventually went to plastic surgeon Doc Yappy for the implant removal procedure.
Before the operation, Toni admitted she had long been curious about what it would feel like to have a flatter chest. She shared that she had never experienced having one, even before becoming a mother, and wanted to know what it would be like to move around without carrying the added weight.
"Buong buhay ko, hindi ko talaga ang experience ang maging flat...kaya talagang naging fantasy ko talaga na maging flat...ewan ko... eh kasi diba ganon naman 'yung buhay, kung anong wala sa'yo 'yun 'yung gusto mong ma-experience. Gusto kong maging flat talaga,” she shared.
She also spoke about the physical discomfort she had lived with over the years. "Kasi ang hirap na rin sa araw-araw ng buhay ko na palaging ang bigat-bigat ng dala ko...ang hirap...kaya it's about time na tanggalin na ang nagpapa-kuba kay Toni Fowler."
MOMMY TONI FOWLER YouTube ChannelThroughout the surgery and recovery, Toni was accompanied by her partner, Vince Flores, who stayed by her side and helped take care of her while she healed. Her daughter, Tyronia, also made sure to support her once she returned home.
Expressing her gratitude, Toni said, "Sobrang ma-swerte ko talaga sa mag-ama ko kasi binabantayan nila ako. Actually, tandem sila pero mas grabe 'yung sacrifice ni Vince. Halos wala na siyang tulog, pinapakain niya ako palagi, at syempre may sinusunod kaming oras ng gamot. Grabe talaga 'yung pag-aalaga niya sa akin mula noon hanggang ngayon."
Later in the vlog, Toni's son, Tyrone, also visited her while she continued recovering from surgery.
One of the most emotional moments came when Toni finally removed the gauze covering her surgical wounds and saw the results for the first time. She and Vince were both surprised by the noticeable difference.
"Grabe sobrang gaan," Toni said, while Vince remarked, "Nakakapanibago."
Despite the change, Vince assured his wife that nothing had changed in the way he felt about her.
While Toni was happy with the outcome, she admitted that seeing herself with a smaller chest also brought unexpected emotions. "Nung nakita ko...sa salamin, parang bigla akong nalungkot. Pero masaya ako at the same time. Masaya ako kasi nagustuhan ko 'yung gawa sa akin...ang ganda niya, hindi na siya ganon kalaylay kasi nga nagka-baby na ako."
"Nung gumilid na ako -- oo gusto kong maging flat pero parang naramdaman ko na hindi ako babae. Kasi diba all my life parang 'yun 'yung nagbubuo sa pagka-babae ko eh...so nung time na nakita ko na flat na siya...hindi ko na feel na parang mommy ako, na babae ako. Parang na-feel ko na 'hala, hindi ako babae'. May ganon pero alam kong emosyon ko lang 'to dahil nga groggy pa rin ako sa gamot, anesthesia, and nalilito pa rin ako kasi big change 'to sa katawan ko," she continued.
She also showed the implants that had been inside her body for 10 years, with each implant weighing 280 grams.
Looking at them after the surgery, Toni said, "Oh my god, ang bigat nito sa araw-araw na buhay ko. Sobrang bigat niya, ngayon ang gaan-gaan na."
Aside from removing the implants, Toni also had a breast reduction procedure. She explained that even before getting implants, her natural chest was already relatively large, so she decided to have a small reduction to achieve the look she had wanted.
"Ang tagal kong pinangarap 'to," she said.
As she continues recovering, the vlog showed that her family has been happy with the results and supportive throughout the entire journey, helping her embrace this new chapter with confidence and gratitude.
