Content creator Toni Fowler has broken her silence after receiving numerous messages linking her to the alleged criminal complaints filed against her former boyfriend, actor Rob Moya.
The clarification came after a Facebook user named Elai Kirst publicly accused Rob of allegedly forging documents and illegally selling two of her properties.
"My husband entrusted the original land titles of our two houses to an agent named ‘ROB MOYA‘ whose only authority was to help sell the properties. Instead of completing a legitimate sale, he transferred the properties using forged documents," she wrote on Facebook.
According to Elai, the properties involved are in Pampanga and Parañaque. She alleged that Rob falsified documents authorizing the transfer and sale of the property in Pampanga. She also claimed that a handwriting examination conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) concluded that the signatures appearing on the transfer documents were forged.
Elai further alleged that the Parañaque property had not yet been transferred to her name when the supposed transaction happened. She claimed Rob allegedly posed as the authorized representative of the previous owner and forged that person's signature as well. She added that the previous owner is prepared to testify that the signatures are not authentic.
She also alleged that one buyer paid ₱22 million for the Parañaque property, while another purchased the Pampanga property for ₱9 million.
"The two properties have an estimated combined market value of approximately ₱100 million if sold properly, meaning they were allegedly sold for a fraction of their value,” she added.
“He kept all of the proceeds and now disappeared,” she added, stating that Rob is apparently currently hiding in Hong Kong.
She also claimed that criminal complaints have already been filed against him.
"Criminal cases have already been filed against him, including cases involving the alleged falsification of documents and related offenses. After being charged, he reportedly left the Philippines and is now abroad,” she stated.
While she acknowledged that recovering the money is important, Elai emphasized that her priority is to reclaim ownership of the properties and have the fraudulent transfers declared invalid.
She also later tagged Toni in the comments section of her post.
Soon after, Toni decided to address the issue on her birthday after being flooded with messages about Rob's alleged legal troubles.
"Sa araw ng birthday ko sobrang dami nag message sa akin. Una dahil binabati ako... Pangalawa dahil may binalita tungkol sa nakaraan ko na nakulong daw etc," she wrote on Facebook.
Toni clarified that she only recently learned about the allegations and stressed that she and Rob have long been out of contact.
"Gusto ko lang klaruhin na ngayon ko lang din yan nakita. Matagal ko na syang hindi nakakausap dahil busy ako sa buhay na meron ako ngayon. Dumalaw lang sya sa amin ng Toro family nung Pasko," she clarified.
She also appealed to the public not to involve her in the controversy, saying she has no knowledge of the alleged incidents and did not benefit from them in any way.
"At wala na po kaming communication sa kanya kaya wag niyo pong hanapin sa akin. I hope maayos yung naging problema at wag akong madamay. Kasi kung totoo man yan ay wala po akong napakinabangan.. may utang pa nga sa akin at hindi na ko nabayaran," she said.
Toni added that she wanted to protect her name and her children from being associated with the allegations.
"Talagang kaklaruhin ko pangalan ko sa part na yan kasi NEVER ako nagkaissue sa pera pera na yan at may mga anak na ko ayoko masali sa ganito."
She also asked netizens to allow her to celebrate her birthday peacefully despite the controversy surrounding her former partner.
As of this writing, Rob has yet to issue a public statement addressing the allegations made against him.
Rob appeared in Toni's vlogs several times. The content creator is now in a relationship with fellow content creator Vince Flores.
