Kapuso actor Rob Sy broke his silence once more to defend his son against malicious comments on social media. On his personal Facebook account, the celebrity father maintained that his son is innocent and was bullied by someone older than him.
This comes after a decision that was made by the Office of the City Prosecutor of Manila, which junked the case filed by celebrity couple Alfred and Yasmine Vargas against them.

“Nais naming ipaalala sa publiko ang isang simpleng katotohanan, na ang akusasyon ay hindi kailanman magiging kapalit ng tunay na mga ebidensya kahit na paulit-ulit pa na sinasabi sa media,” Rob wrote.
Rob expressed that they weren’t going to release a statement following the decision, but felt the need to as he wanted to clear their side of the story.
“Mariin din naming itinatanggi ang alegasyon na kumakalat o pinanapakalat ng umano’y 'paulit-ulit na bullying.' Nais po naming linawin na ang aming anak ay HINDI bully. Ang ganitong paratang ay nananatiling walang sapat na ebidensyang sumusuporta rito,” he expressed.
The celebrity father asserted that the 10-page decision is sufficient to show that their son had done nothing wrong. He added how speculations shouldn’t be used as evidence–– something that was discussed in the decision.
Without naming anybody, Rob maintained that his son is the victim as someone “older” is bullying him.
“Sa katunayan, base sa ebidensya na makikita sa 10-page resolution, ang anak po namin ang mismong binully, hindi ng bata, kundi ng di hamak na nakatatanda sa kanya. Pero gayun pa man ay kapatawaran ang nangibaba,” he asserted.
While a decision was made by the Office of the City Prosecutor of Manila, the father acknowledged that the opposing counsel could exhaust other legal remedies.
Rob expressed that they are putting all their focus on the healing of their child, but assured that they are open to speaking up about the issue just to counter the alleged attacks they’ve been receiving on social media.
“Sa huli, ang sinumang lumalabag sa tiwalang ipinagkaloob ng taumbayan ay mananagot sa ilalim ng ating mga legal na institusyon, dahil ang buong katotohanan ay hindi magpapasupil,” he shared.
“Maraming Salamat po sa lahat na patuloy na naninindigan para sa katotohanan, patas na paghusga, at paggalang sa proseso ng batas,” he ended.
