Marking their 12th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows, celebrity couple Jopay Paguia and Joshua Zamora shared more glimpses of their intimate celebration with family and loved ones.
In a wedding film released by Nice Print on YouTube, the couple renewed their promises to one another, reflecting on more than a decade of marriage.
“I love you, Babas, noon, ngayon at habang buhay,” Jopay said. “Salamat dahil hanggang ngayon ako pa rin ang pinipili mo. Mahal na mahal kita at pipiliin pa rin kita araw-araw. Patuloy kitang pipiliin araw-araw hanggang sa huling hininga ko at hanggang sa araw na muli natin makita ang Panginoon na Siyang nagbuklod sa atin.”
The SexBomb Girls member also looked back on the vows they exchanged on their wedding day and how God had fulfilled the promises they made to each other.
“12 years ago, nangako tayo sa harap ng Diyos na mamahalin at aalagaan ang isa't isa habang buhay. Ngayon, nakatayo ako sa harap mo, hindi bilang asawa mo kung hindi bilang isang babae kung paano tinupad ng Diyos ang mga pangako na binitawan natin noon,” she added.
“Salamat dahil mahal mo ako kahit makulit, madrama at minsan napakahirap intindihin.”
Jopay went on to express her commitment to Joshua through every stage of life, “Kapag dumating ang panahon na tayo ay mas tumanda pa, kapag mas marami ng kulubot kaysa buhok, kapag mabagal na ang ating mga hakbang at mahina na ang ating mga katawan, pipiliin pa rin kita.”
For his part, Joshua reaffirmed the promises he made to his wife years ago, emphasizing the role of faith in strengthening their marriage.
“My dearest, babas, today, I stand before you once again not because I have to but because I want to. Years ago, I made a promise before God and our loved ones to love you with all my heart,” Joshua said.
“Babas, I promised to continue loving you not only during the easy days but especially during the difficult ones. Pangako ko na patuloy kitang susuportahan, pakikinggan at sasamahan sa bawat season ng buhay natin,” he added.
He also shared what he considers the foundation of their enduring relationship.
“Para sa akin, it’s really important that Jesus will always be the center of our marriage. I love you now, I love you forever.”
Prior to the release of the wedding film, the couple shared snippets of their vow renewal ceremony on their respective Instagram accounts.
Jopay marked another milestone of their love story with a heartfelt message for Joshua, saying: “12 years, countless blessings. ❤️ Through every season, God has remained faithful to us. Grateful for the love, lessons, and memories we’ve shared. Here’s to more years of growing together, hand in hand, with Christ at the center. ✨🙏.”
Joshua also wrote: “Celebrating 12 years of God’s goodness, grace, and faithfulness in our marriage. Through every joy, challenge, victory, and lesson, His hand has guided us every step of the way. Here’s to more years of love, purpose, and growing together in Christ. ❤️✨ #12YearsAndCounting.”
Jopay and Joshua tied the knot in 2014 and have since welcomed two daughters, Alessa and Ariana.
Earlier this year, Joshua surprised his wife with a second wedding proposal during her solo performance at the SexBomb Girls’ rAWnd 4 reunion concert.
