SexBomb member Jopay Paguia reflected on gratitude and strength after successfully performing at the SexBomb Girls’ Get, Get Aw! reunion concert series despite being hospitalized just weeks before the shows.
In early January, the SexBomb member was hospitalized after an accident left her with a concussion. She shared that bathroom tiles had fallen and struck her head and back. Due to the impact, doctors immediately recommended further medical evaluation to properly assess her condition.

A week later, concern among fans deepened when videos of Jopay in a wheelchair were shared by her husband, Maneuvers dancer Joshua Zamora. At the time, Joshua revealed that she underwent a knee aspiration procedure to remove fluid from her knees.

With the reunion concerts scheduled from February 6 to 8, many wondered if she would be able to perform. But when the event started, Jopay stood once again with her fellow members.
On February 13, Jopay took to social media to reflect on the experience and express her gratitude after successfully completing the concerts despite the medical challenges she faced beforehand.
“Mula sa hirap at sakit na tiniis ko, lumaban ako para sa mga taong hanggang ngayon ay patuloy na lumalaban sa buhay. Lumaban ako hanggang sa dulo dahil kayo, pamilya ko, at ang Panginoon ang naging inspirasyon ko para ‘wag sumuko. 💪❤️,” she wrote.
Alongside her message, she shared a compilation of photos documenting her journey from her days in the hospital to her moments under the bright stage lights. In the background, Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” played, underscoring the strength she drew from during her recovery.
Jopay also thanked those who supported and prayed for her, acknowledging the cheers that carried her through every performance.
“Maraming salamat sa walang humpay na palakpakan, sigawan, at sa lahat ng dasal at paniniwala na matatapos ko ang concert. Sana patuloy niyong samahan ako sa journey na ito. Hindi ako titigil dahil sa inyo, kayo ang lakas ko, at mahal ko kayong lahat.”
“Kung ako ang 'Wonder Woman' ng buhay niyo, kayo naman ang aking superpower. 🌟💖,” she ended.
Beyond the physical comeback, the concert became even more meaningful for Jopay on a personal level. During its rAWnd 4, she experienced an unexpected moment that turned the concert into one of the most memorable nights of her life.

After her solo performance, she was surprised to see Joshua kneeling on stage to propose to her for a second time. Their daughters, Alessa and Ariana, joined them on stage as the emotional moment unfolded. When asked for a second wedding, Jopay did not hesitate to say yes.
Meanwhile, the SexBomb Girls’ Get, Get, Aw! Reunion Concert is set to return for a “rAWnd 6” in Parañaque, with the schedule yet to be announced. The group will also stage their first-ever international concerts in the Middle East on March 27 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre and on March 28 at 321 Sports in Abu Dhabi, followed by a show in the United States on May 16 at 8 p.m. at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
