SexBomb Girls member and actress Jopay Paguia underwent a knee aspiration procedure earlier this week to remove the fluid as shared by her husband, Joshua Zamora. The procedure on her knee comes a week after she was hospitalized due to a concussion.
According to Cleveland Clinic, knee aspiration procedure or arthrocentesis is a procedure done to draw out fluid from the joint with a hollow needle and a syringe. This will relieve the pressure as the fluid gets removed.
“May God cover her with His peace and protection as the procedure is done. May every hand that touches her knees be guided with wisdom and care. We pray that the fluid will be removed smoothly, without complications, and that healing will come quickly and completely,” Joshua wrote in his Facebook account.
Joshua shared a glimpse of Jopay before and after the procedure. She was assisted by the medical staff and was cheered on by her husband in the videos he posted.
“May pain and discomfort be gone, strength be restored, and recovery be fast. Above all, may she feel God’s comforting presence and assurance that she is not alone. 'The Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.' Trusting Him for a successful operation and full healing,” he added.

After the procedure, Joshua expressed his gratitude to everyone that prayed for his wife’s health and recovery. Jopay was spotted wearing multiple colored bandages on both of her knees as she was being wheeled to their car to head home.
The actor showed the amount of fluid that was taken from Jopay’s knees–– with the left side having more than the right side.
Fans of the dancer-actress sent their well-wishes and prayed for her fast recovery in the comment section of her husband’s post.
Meanwhile, Jopay is set to perform once more alongside the other members of the SexBomb Girls for their Get, Get, Aw! The SexBomb Concert happening this February 6 to 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
