Many Filipinos choose to observe the Holy Week by taking a break from their busy lives to reflect, strengthen their faith, and express gratitude for the blessings that they have received. PUSH ABS-CBN caught up with these Kapamilya stars for an exclusive interview on what blessings and miracles they have experienced in their lives:

Jason Dy

One of the most meaningful blessings in Jason’s career came when he finally became part of Your Face Sounds Familiar.

“Recently, I got to be part of Your Face Sounds Familiar. It's a huge blessing for me kasi I actually auditioned for Season 3, sa season ni Klang (Klarisse De Guzman). Then I got a call sa season na ‘yun, and honestly I was pretty devastated because I thought I was gonna be part of it na,” Jason recalled.

He found this to be recurring theme in his career. “That’s usually the story of my life, like noong The Voice Philippines. I auditioned for Season 1 tapos hindi ako nakapasok, and I auditioned for other shows tapos hindi din ako natatawagan. And this one they asked me to auditioned again for Season 4 and then I got the blessing to be part of it. So it's a huge blessing for me.”

Jarlo Base

Jarlo described his journey in the entertainment industry as a blessing that helped him overcome personal struggles.

“This is like super duper honest, sincere na palagi ko sinasabi na ever since. [Blessing] na napasok ako sa Star Magic and ‘yung nakasali ako sa Your Face kasi it really opened a lot of doors for me. Sobrang thankful ko sa industry na ‘to, sa family na ito, kasi na-overcome ko ‘yung weaknesses ko ever since as a performer — ‘yung self-doubt, ‘yung kaba ko. I think ito ang pinakablessing ko,” the singer-songwriter expressed.

Jeremy Glinoga

To work with top stars in the local music industry is something that Jeremy considers his greatest miracle so far, saying: “It's a lot, but I can encapsulate it to technically one thing: just writing songs for many iconic artist like Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Zsa Zsa Padilla, BINI. For me, that's a miracle in itself: to be able to write music for them.”

Gela Atayde

Gela looked towards her family for her blessings and miracles. She named the first-born of Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo as her greatest miracle thus far.

“I think my answer would be my nephew, Sabino. I've been obsessed with that little boy so I guess he's just a miracle in our lives because he is such a little joy, he’s a little ball of sunshine,” she shared.

KD Estrada

One miracle that made its lasting mark in KD’s life has to do with a health scare he had a child.

“For me, a miracle that happened in my life was I was 7 years old. I got diagnosed with Kawasaki, and parang at the time medyo malabo ‘yung pag recover ko. But some miracle happened and gumaling ako. I didn’t know what happened, as in super sudden na my blood was okay, my heart was okay, and everything else was getting okay. I would say its one of the biggest miracles in my life,” KD shared.

Christof Sommereux

Keeping it simple, new artist Christof considers being able to pass math class as an unexpected, but very welcome, blessing.

“Siguro recent miracle was that, for someone who's really bad with mathematics class, I was able to somehow pass my mathematics class in college. That was a pre-requisite for all of my other major subjects so I would consider that a miracle.”

Rain Celmar

Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 alumna Rain shared that her greatest blessing and miracle in her life is her family who “supports and loves” her.

Gerald Anderson

Blood Vs Duty star Gerald considers his mistakes and failures as a “blessing in disguise”.  For him, more than being setbacks, these were actually opportunites to learn and be better.

“Blessing of learning, blessing of mistakes and failures kasi dun ka talaga natututo. You become an even better person kapag you accept and learn from it. I think it's not just success and achievement ‘yung blessings, pati po ‘yung mga failures. ’Yun talaga ‘yung learning experiences,” he explained.
