It was a much friendlier encounter between Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy as English actor Tom Felton shared photos of his meet-up with former co-star Daniel Radcliffe.
On his official Instagram page, Tom posted snaps of the two together after he visited Daniel during the latter’s Broadway run of Every Brilliant Thing.
“Broomsticks to Broadway @brilliantbway @cursedchildus,” Tom simply wrote, tagging Daniel’s show and his own production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
In the photos, the two actors warmly embraced while posing for the camera. Tom also included a throwback image from the Harry Potter film series, showing Daniel in his Gryffindor robes as Harry Potter and Tom in his Slytherin robes as Draco Malfoy during a Quidditch match.
Fans quickly expressed excitement over the reunion, noting the long-standing friendship between the two actors years after the franchise ended.
“Oh seeing you both reunited warms my heart ❤️ two talented people who got a huge, beautiful impact to so many lives worldwide and it all started 25 years ago with magic 🪄 💛✨ and now both active on Broadway 🎭👏,” a fan commented.
Another one said: “Aww, look at them, being best buds. I love them for that. HP wasn't just a story about magic, it made real friendships that are still strong 20yrs later.”

Daniel’s Broadway performance marks his first time returning to the theater stage since his 2024 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical win for his role in Merrily We Roll Along. Every Brilliant Thing will open on March 12, for a limited thirteen-week engagement through May 24, at The Hudson Theatre.
Meanwhile, Tom has reprised his role as Draco Malfoy in the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. His casting was officially announced in June 2025 and he would be playing a “dad” version of his popular character. The show already started back in November that same year.
"It takes off from where we left off, 19 years later. Harry and I are putting our own children through the works of going to Hogwarts for the first time so it's very exciting," Tom said.
In an interview with Us Weekly in December, Daniel shared the advice he gave Tom before his Broadway debut.
“The only thing I said to him — because it’s a thing we don’t have in the U.K., so I was not sure if he was going to have experienced it — is entrance applause,” Daniel said. “I was like, ‘They are going to go insane when you get out on that stage for the first time.’”
He added that they had been trying to meet up despite their busy schedules: “We’ve been trying to meet up for a little while, and we haven’t been able to do it. So I was like, I’m just going to send him a voice note to be like, ‘Dude, in case no one has mentioned this — because I could also see it being the kind of thing that people hadn’t thought to tell him — just so you know, don’t let it throw you when the audience erupts when you go out there for the first time.’”
