Today, March 31, Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda celebrates his birthday. He is now known as one of the country’s biggest entertainers, from his hosting stint on It’s Showtime to his box-office hits, and sold-out shows.
But before the superstardom, Vice already made his mark through a string of cameos and supporting roles in films and television.

Hillary in In My Life
One of Vice’s earlier film appearances, he played Hillary in this drama starring Vilma Santos, Luis Manzano, and John Lloyd Cruz. Despite being a supporting role, Vice made it unforgettable, especially with his impromptu banter with Vilma that had the veteran actress bursting into laughter. In the scene, Vice described Vilma as a mom who dressed up like “a school faculty with a height of a student.” The scene became more popular as it was not included in the script.
Beauty in Hating Kapatid
Vice brought his signature comic flair as Beauty, the hilarious house helper of sisters Rica (Judy Ann Santos) and Cecilia (Sarah Geronimo). Even in a supporting role, his timing and delivery made him a standout in the film.

Joko in Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik
Vice appeared in this primetime drama, playing Joko. a loyal friend who looked after Toni Gonzaga’s character, Onay. Onay believed in foretelling her future through card reading.
Salaminsim in Dyosa
Vice played the magical Salaminsim in Anne Curtis’s Dyosa. Salaminsim is the talking mirror of Magayon (played by Jaclyn Jose) who plots against Josephine (played by Anne). Salaminsim meets his end as Bernardo Carpio (played by Matthew Mendoza) smashes the mirror ro pieces.
Maxie in May Bukas Pa
Vice played the role of Sara’s (played by Bea Alonzo) best friend Maxie who helped her and the child Val (played by Nash Aguas) escape from an abusive father. Maxie was known for quoting iconic film lines
August in 100 Days to Heaven
Vice played the role of August, a hair salon owner who became cruel after encountering the woman she looked up to, the “evil” Madam Anna Manalastas (Coney Reyes). Sophia (Jodi Sta. Maria) and her sister, little Anna (Xyriel Manabat), must make things right between him and Madam Anna so the latter can go to heaven.
Santana in Juan dela Cruz
Vice plays Santana, the tikbalang who captures Prinsesa Mira (played by Shaina Magdayao). He did this to negotiate with Queen Nerea (Lara Quigaman) to keep the portal open for the tikbalangs, get half of the fairy kingdom, and retrieve the body of his father, Lazaro, whom he believed was killed by the fairies.
Ella in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano
Vice reunited with his “bestie,” Kapamilya Primetime King Coco Martin, in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Ella is a con artist who uses different identities to steal money from foreigners and rich businessmen. His guest appearance became one of the memorable episodes as Coco dressed as Paloma to compete with Vice’s Ella.
