Ejay Falcon and Dawn Chang were among the Pinoy Big Brother housemates who paid tribute to the iconic house earlier this week. This comes after the PBB house is closing its doors which was confirmed by head of TV Production and Star Magic, Laurenti Diyogi.
The hit reality television show will be moving to a new and undisclosed location.

Being the Big Winner of Teen Edition Plus, Ejay looked back and recalled all the memories he had living inside the PBB house.
“Isang simpleng teenager mula sa liblib na lugar ng Oriental Mindoro ang pumasok sa Bahay ni Kuya, at hindi ko inakalang lalabas ako bilang Big Winner,” he wrote.
The actor-politician added how PBB opened many doors of opportunity for him as he was able to be part of an industry he would’ve never imagined he'd be in. Ejay then expressed his gratitude towards everyone that made his stay inside the PBB house possible.
“Hindi lang ito bahay, dito nabago ang buhay ko. Dito nabuksan ang mundo ko sa industriyang hindi ko man lang pinangarap noon. At kung nasaan man ako ngayon, malaking bahagi nito ay dahil sa Bahay ni Kuya,” he said.
“Ngayong magsasara na ang Bahay ni Kuya, mabigat sa puso. Pero ang mga alaala, aral, at pagbabagong iniwan nito ay mananatili habang buhay. Kuya, kahit wala ka man sa pisikal na anyo, hinding-hindi mawawala ang utang na loob ko sa’yo. Habang buhay kang mananatili sa puso ko,” he ended.
For Dawn, who was a finalist of the 737 edition, shared how the three months of her stay inside the PBB house would eventually lead her staying in the Philippines a little bit longer than intended.
“Tumira ako sa loob ng PBB house ng tatlong buwan at lumabas bilang fourth big placer noong 2015. Hindi ko inakala na pagkatapos ng show na iyon, muli akong maninirahan sa Pilipinas (from Australia),” she expressed.
Just like Ejay, the Kapamilya actress was given opportunities to be part of some television shows which she happily accepted. She shared how forever grateful she is for the blessings that she received because of the hit reality program.
“Nagbukas ang napakaraming oportunidad para sa akin sa larangan ng sining. Nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon bilang host at bilang artista, kahit lagi akong kontrabida. 😆 Ginrab ko ang bawat oportunidad at pinatunayan ko sa sarili ko at sa buong mundo na kaya ko,” Dawn said.
Meanwhile, the Gen 11 housemates –– Kolette Madelo, Jasmine Dudley-Scales, Dylan Yturralde, Dingdong Bahan, Binsoy Namoca, Jarren Garcia, and Kai Montinola were also spotted inside the PBB house for one last time.
“Sobrang emotional ko lang kasi last ko ng pumasok sa bahay ni kuya, sobrang nagpapasalamat din ako sa mga taong nakasama ko sa loob ng bahay ni kuya, sa mga tech, at sa mga chimera ants, (mga taong araw-araw nagbabantay). Nakabuo din ako ng pagkakaibigan na hindi ko aakalaing magiging pamilya ko,” Kolette shared.
“Bye bye, PBB House! 21 years mygudness! ❤️💙💚 This is the end of the beginning,” Dingdong added.
Meanwhile, there is no announcement yet about where the next PBB house will be, but there are plans already for a new season as ABS-CBN still holds the license for the franchise.
