Actress Marjorie Barretto and her eldest daughter Dani Barretto-Panlilio expressed their love and gratitude for actress Julia Barretto as she celebrated her 29th birthday.
On their respective social media pages, the two shared heartfelt messages dedicated to Julia on her special day. Marjorie looked back on the years she spent raising her daughter and expressed pride in the woman Julia has become.
“Has it really been 29 years already? It has been quite a journey raising you, and now watching you grow into the beautiful, mature, articulate, strong, sweet, and generous woman that you are has been so rewarding for me to witness. Thank you for all the love and respect you show me,” Marjorie wrote.
The actress also reminisced about their travels together, recalling one particular memory that stood out to her where Julia surprised her during what was supposed to be a solo trip.
“Traveling with you has always given me some of my favorite memories. So many photos and moments to cherish. But what stands out the most was when you followed me while I was alone in the Cotswolds. What a joy it was to spend those 10 days with you,” she added.
She also shared how that trip made her feel special as their roles seemed to reverse: “Somehow the roles reversed. You became the mother and I was the child. You took such good care of me, always looking out for me and even turning back to check that I wasn’t getting lost.”
Marking another year in Julia’s life, Marjorie ended her message with warm wishes, saying: “I am truly enjoying this season of life with you. Happiest Birthday to my daughter, my friend. Your journey continues and i love seeing you happy. God be with you always. Happy Happy Birthday dearest Jul. I love you so very much! ❤️.”
Julia responded to her mother’s message, writing, “Thank God for you. I love you so much mom!!!”
Meanwhile, Dani also celebrated Julia’s birthday with a heartfelt tribute, calling her sister her “twin soul, my first baby girl, the first person I ever felt responsible for, and my very first best friend.”
“Growing up with you has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. From just the two of us, our little world eventually grew into 3 more besties who share the same memories, laughter, and love. ❤️,” she said.
Dani went on to express her wishes for Julia as she entered a new chapter.
“You have such a beautiful heart, and I pray that this year meets you with the same “You’ve such a beautiful heart, and I pray that this year meets you with the same kindness and love you give to everyone around you. May this new chapter be filled with adventure, immense joy, healing, and countless blessings that remind you how truly loved you are.”
She also assured Julia that she and her family will always be by her side.

On her own social media page, Julia marked the occasion by sharing photos of herself wearing black and white outfits.
