Celebrity mom Inday Barretto was known well known in the showbiz industry as several of her children got into the business. While she wasn’t an actress herself, she had one of the most colorful lives when it comes to Philippine entertainment due to her personality.
With her recent passing, the showbiz industry mourns a loss of a mother who has given birth to stars–– Claudine, Gretchen, and Marjorie Barretto. She was 89 years old at the time of her death which was confirmed by her family.

Inday also had four other children who didn’t enter show business and went on with their private lives: JJ, Mito, Michelle, and Gia. Mito, the eldest among all of the Barretto siblings, passed away last year at the age of 66.
It was in the 1990s when the three youngest daughters of the Barretto matriarch entered the showbiz industry. Since then, their names became a powerhouse in the world of entertainment as the three dominated screens big and small.
Though not everything was as smooth as it could be even for a family as close as theirs, the Barretto family has been a hot topic when it comes to their misunderstandings since many were exposed to the public.
Various fights have been played out on social media which gave the Filipinos a chance to see the dynamics of their family. Siblings would take sides, adding to the tension.
