Kapamilya actress Eliza Borromeo and Kapuso actress Sofia Pablo looked back on their transformative journey as they recently exited the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 house.
On Instagram, Eliza shared how returning to the iconic yellow house served as a powerful reminder of who she truly is.
“Second chances don’t come to erase the past, they come to teach you something new,” Eliza wrote.
She admitted that coming back as a wildcard housemate was far from easy. “Being in the house again was enough to remind me who I really am. Coming back wasn’t easy. Bumalik akong may takot, doubt, at maraming tanong, but I’m walking out with a heart that feels lighter and more at peace.”
Eliza added that the experience taught her the value of staying true to herself, even during moments of uncertainty.
“This experience reminded me how important it is to stay true to yourself, kahit na minsan hindi ka na sigurado sa lahat. I learned to listen more, to feel deeply, and to show up kahit hindi palaging madali.”
She also expressed gratitude to those who supported her through the challenges she faced inside and outside the house.
“To everyone who chose to understand me, to stand up for me, and to protect me when things got loud — thank you. Nakikita at nababasa ko lahat. Your love meant more than you’ll ever know. I felt seen, supported, and I never felt alone. I’ll keep on learning and growing, hindi lang para sa sarili ko, but for all of you who believed in me and stayed,” she added.
Eliza went on to thank Pinoy Big Brother, ABS-CBN, GMA, the production team, and her loved ones for giving her a second chance.
“This journey taught me that sometimes, healing is the real win. And today, I choose peace, gratitude, and to keep growing 🤍 I didn’t lose myself this time, and that’s everything. And this year, I’m rising. Kahit anong pagsubok na harapin ko, babangon ako nang may tapang at pag-asa. 🫂✨”
Last month, Eliza returned as one of two wildcard housemates, months after her initial exit in November. She was part of the Solid Six group, which was defeated in all three LigTask challenges against Striving Feathers. After a week of public voting, Eliza placed at the bottom with 20.97%, alongside fellow Kapamilya housemates Joaquin Arce and Carmelle Collado.
Meanwhile, Sofia Pablo also reflected on her 99-day journey inside the PBB house, sharing that she entered the competition with one clear goal.
“99 days 🏠 one goal — ipakita sa mundo kung sino talaga ako ✨,” Sofia said.
The young actress admitted she was initially hesitant to join the Kapamilya reality show but chose to face her fears.
“Nung una, natatakot akong pumasok sa PBB. Hindi ko alam kung mauunawaan ako ng tao. Pero pinili kong harapin yung takot na yon at bigyan ang sarili ko ng chance. Chance na baka, sa pagpasok ko sa bahay ni Kuya, mas makilala ako ng mundo — at makita nila kung sino talaga ako. 🤍,” she stated.
Sofia said she made a promise to herself to stay authentic throughout her stay: “Pagpasok ko sa bahay ni Kuya, I made a promise to myself — na papanindigan ko ang katotohanan ko. At yun ang ginawa ko. Nagpakatotoo ako sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya 🫶🏻.“
She also thanked Pinoy Big Brother, GMA, ABS-CBN, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Kuya, her fellow housemates, and her family and supporters for being part of her journey. “Sa loob ng BNK, I learned how to understand others more, to trust, and to believe in myself. 🤍”
She also told her supporters, “At sa lahat ng naniwala, sumuporta, at naglaan ng oras para kilalanin ako — maraming salamat. Thank you for the love, the trust, and for giving me the chance to introduce myself again. 🫶🏻.”
She concluded her message by saying she achieved her purpose inside the house: “I can say that I’ve fulfilled my purpose — to show the world who I really am. 🥹🫶🏻🤍 Maraming salamat 🤍.”
Sofia was also part of the Solid Six and garnered 8.46% of the votes, competing against fellow Kapuso housemates Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales.
