MANILA -- Actress Claudine Barretto turned to social media to share her promise to her late mother Inday, who passed away on Thursday, January 29.
"Mommy We're gonna be okay 👍 i promise!" wrote Barretto as a caption to an Instagram reel showing her with her mother, who was lying on a hospital bed.
In her latest update, Barretto also shared a reel showing her moments with her mom through the years.
She captioned the post, "The Warrior is HER CHILD 💔 Mommy🥹."
Barretto and her brother Joaquin confirmed the passing of their mother on Thursday night. She was 89.
Known in show business as as the matriarch of Barretto family, Inday is the mother of Claudine, Gretchen and Marjorie.
Her grandchildren include Julia Barreto, Claudia Barretto, Leon Barretto and Dani Barr.
