A banner from the Philippines caught the attention of Filipino-American singer Bruno Mars.

The banner carried a congratulatory message, which read: "Congratulations Rose and Bruno Mars on winning VMA Song of the Year. Philippines is proud of [you]."

What made it amusing, however, was that although the banner featured a photo of Rosé, it used a lookalike of Bruno instead of the singer himself.

Expressing his amusement, Bruno posted the said banner on his Instagram Story with a laughing emoji.

Rosé also reposted the photo on her Story and wrote: "My hubba hubs."

The singers won the Song of the Year at the 2025 VMAs for their hit collaboration "APT."

In her speech during the awards show, Rosé described Bruno as an "absolute idol and incredible teacher."

"Thank you so much, Bruno... Thank you so much for believing in me and helping me build this world together. I'm really, really forever grateful for you and  our friendship," she remarked.

"APT." is inspired by the Korean drinking game Apartment. It is pronounced as apateu or 아파트 in Korean.

In an interview with Vogue back in October 2024, the BLACKPINK member shared how her collaboration with Bruno happened.

"Last year, Bruno came to perform in Korea, in Seoul and my friends were like, 'Do you wanna go watch a Bruno Mars concert?' And so ever since then I was like, 'Oh my god, I love Bruno Mars, I play his songs all the time,'" she recalled.

"Fast forward somebody set up a meeting with him and I. And I met him and I was like, I was fangirling so much, and he liked jumped on the song and he had all these like crazy ideas for it," she said.

According to Chart Data, the song gained the biggest debut for a male-female duet on YouTube in 2024. It achieved more than 25 million views on YouTube on its first day on the platform.

"APT." was released following the announcement that Rosé would be dropping her debut solo album titled Rosie on December 6, 2024.

"With the support of my dear friends and family, my team, and of course my number ones, I am sat here today excited to announce the date of my album release," the singer posted on October 1.

She shared the inspiration behind the title saying: "Rosie - is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me. And yes, it’s a full-length album. DEC 6th. #rosie."
