Jericho Rosales opened up about how his relationship with Janine Gutierrez has influenced his growth, as the couple marks a year of being together.
In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez on TFC's BRGY, the actor was asked in what ways Janine has made him a better man.
"Just the support that she's given me, the acceptance and the support of her and her family, just adds humility, and gratitude, and thankfulness, na parang okay, it has made me a better man because she always makes me feel like I am good, you are alright, there is nothing wrong with you. You're fine. You're good," he remarked.
He went on: "She always reminds me that when I'm doing something, she always gives me either a comment, an honest either review or comment niya about what I am doing, and always telling me that that's great, that's amazing."
The actor added that Janine’s steady reassurance taught him to be kinder to himself. "As people, we always criticize ourselves and judge ourselves and she is just one sweet, accepting, supportive, and honest person. And it made me reflect on how I look at myself. And that's a great partner for me," he stated.
Back in September, Jericho celebrated his birthday with Janine as they traveled to South Africa.
On his Instagram page at that time, Jericho shared the clips and snapshots from his birthday celebration.
"Third time celebrating my birthday in Africa and I always come home with a full heart and belly ❤️🎂🍌🍉🥑🍍🥭So I’m connecting to the wifi to say big big love to the amazing people of Tanzania and everyone who greeted me! ASANTE SANA!" he wrote.
The actor expressed his joy of sharing this special occasion with Janine. "So so happy to share this experience with @janinegutierrez! Thanks for being sneaky 🫶🏼Thank you, @accesstravelph for arranging this trip! I’m blown away," he said.
