Celebrity couple Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales recently enjoyed an unforgettable wildlife adventure in Tanzania.
On her social media pages, Janine shared photos from their trip to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a protected site and UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Tanzania.
“Ngorongoro Crater was so beautiful. It's the world's largest unfilled volcanic caldera and is a @unesco World Heritage Site and conservation area. You drive up to the rim of the crater, just about 400 feet lower than the elevation of Macchu Picchu, and then drive about 2000 feet down to get to the crater floor where all the animals are. Definitely one of the most magical places on earth. First day safari and we saw 4 out of the big 5!! 🦏🦁🐘🐃🇹🇿 you were right about Tanzania, @accesstravelph @angelydub!!” Janine wrote.
In the carousel of photos, the couple showed a variety of wildlife they encountered, including zebras, lions, buffalos, a rhinoceros, an elephant, a hippopotamus, and a gazelle.
In a previous post. Janine shared a compilation of clips from their trip with a caption: “Touched down in Tanzania!! First day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater 🇹🇿 Sharing snippets from this safari trip of a lifetime with @accesstravelph. I wouldn't even have thought of Tanzania if not for them - it's so magical.”
In the video, Janine also shared a surreal moment as she stood at the spot that inspired a scene from Disney’s The Lion King.
“This is where Mufasa said ‘everything the light touches is yours’,” Janine said as she excitedly panned the camera to the scenery.
Janine’s aunt, Ruffa Gutierrez, who previously visited the Ngorongoro Crater, left a comment: “Enjoyyyy!! 😍❤️🇹🇿” which Janine replied, “@iloveruffag thank you so much for your tips tita!!! so helpful!!! Jisu life! 😂.”
Ruffa added, “@janinegutierrez more videos & pics pleaseeee! 😍❤️😂.”
Fans also shared their amazement at the couple’s trip, with one commenting: “Honestly speaking, I never really thought of Tanzania as a place to go for a vacation. Seeing how you and Echo enjoyed this trip so much, I guess my bucket list is getting shorter now 🥰🥰🥰.”
Another one shared, “It’s one of the most magical places on this planet earth 🌏 even the smell of the soil is so different…”
Earlier this September, Janine and Jericho marked their first anniversary as a couple. Just last week, they also flew to South Africa to celebrate Jericho’s birthday.
“Third time celebrating my birthday in Africa and I always come home with a full heart and belly ❤️🎂🍌🍉🥑🍍🥭 So I’m connecting to the wifi to say big big love to the amazing people of Tanzania 🇹🇿 and everyone who greeted me! ASANTE SANA!” Jericho wrote in a post.
He added, “So so happy to share this experience with @janinegutierrez! Thanks for being sneaky 🫶🏼 Thank you, @accesstravelph for arranging this trip! I’m blown away 🙏🏽”
Janine also posted a sweet birthday greeting: “you 💕💞 happy birthday my babadoodie :) :)” which Jericho replied: “Hahahaha Mambo jambo! Asante sana,, babadoodie! 🥰❤️❤️❤️.”

Janine and Jericho first worked together on the hit Kapamilya series Lavender Fields. During promotions for the show, they confirmed they were exclusively dating after months of speculations. Reports then noted that Jericho introduced himself as Janine’s boyfriend during the wake of her grandmother, Pilita Corrales.
Although there was no official confirmation from the two at the time, they have been seen together as well as showing updates in their social media pages.
