Jake Ejercito shared that he accompanied his daughter Ellie to visit the memorial niche of her grandmother Jaclyn Jose on the eve of late actress' birthday.
"It's her first day in heaven!" Ejercito said.
"Ellie has been living with me kasi. She has moved back to Manila from Siargao. The day before, on a Sunday, we visited her sa columbary. I was with Ellie and Tita Jane's other relatives. Then we had a small dinner afterwards, remembering her."
Mary Jane Guck in real life, Ellie calls her grandma Nanay Jane. Jaclyn passed away due to heart attack last March and, according to Ejercito, this is the first time they visited her again after the inurnment.
"It was a solemn moment. Siyempre hinayaan ko rin si Ellie to have a moment with her nanay, as she calls her. She is missed very dearly," he said.
How is Ellie coping up with her loss?
"She is back in school now in Manila, busy naman siya. and this coming sem break, next week, she'll be flying back to Siargao to spend December with her mom."
Jake is also set to be busy in the coming months as he is set to appear in a new series for ABS-CBN.
