This, as the Filipino spikers absorbed a 18-25, 17-25, 25-23, 19-25 loss at the hands of Indonesia in the second leg of the six-nation tournament, Friday at the Jakarta International Velodrome.

They faced the same fate during the first leg, where they also lost to Cambodia, the eventual champion, and AVC Men's Cup champion Indonesia in the pool phase of the Candon-hosted event.
They will once more face Myanmar—which finished with 0-2 record in Pool B—in the fifth-place match.
Lirick Mendoza was a bright spot for the Nationals, finishing with 14 points on 13 attacks and one block, while Jude Garcia had 11 points on nine attacks and two blocks against the home squad. Al-Bukharie Sali, in one of his better games in an Alas jersey, contributed eight attack points.
