MANILA — Alyssa Solomon is still weighing her options despite throwing her name in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Rookie Draft.

Solomon, coming home after her stint in the Japan SV.League with the Osaka Marvelous, is taking her time in making a final decision amid reports of international offers.

“Hindi pa talaga firm ‘yung decision, pero we’ll see,” the former National University ace admitted Thursday during Day 1 of the PVL Rookie Draft Combine in Mandaluyong City.

Solomon acknowledged that the decision to join the proceedings was months in the making.

“Hindi siya naging madali, actually. Ilang months ko rin siyang pinag-isipan nang mabuti,” she said.

Solomon is widely considered to be the presumptive number one overall pick for her international stint and runs with Alas Pilipinas, and is expected to bring in these experiences in case she proceeds with the draft and signs with a PVL club.

More on hard work talaga yung masaya akong na-experience ko do’n.”

Solomon has until June 1 to withdraw her name from the draft pool.
