MANILA — Trisha Tubu took matters into her own hands, powering Farm Fresh to a 25-23, 18-25, 25-19, 25-23 triumph over PLDT in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Semifinals on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Tubu took over in the endgame against the High Speed Hitters, scoring five of the Foxies' last seven points to tear down a PLDT 22-18 lead en route to the stunning win.
It was also Tubu who scored the team's last three points, targeting Alleiah Malaluan's defense to kill the ball.
For the Adamson University product, she just refused to let down the Foxies, repaying the trust they gave her.

"Unang-una po siguro 'yung tiwala nila sa akin. Ayun 'yung ayaw ko masira," said Tubu.
Tubu surpassed her 13-point outing against Cignal, as she exploded on Tuesday for 28 points anchored on 26 kills and two rejections on the net.
Given a chance to gift Farm Fresh a win, the high-flying Tubu seized the opportunity.
"'Yung last game na 'yun hindi ako nakapag-perform nang maayos. And ngayon, gustong-gusto ko talaga bumawi and ngayon [na] binigyan ako ng chance bumawi, 'yung crucial part, 'yung pa-ending ng game," she said.
Tubu shared the credit, saying that their first semifinals win is a total team effort.
"Sobrang thankful ako sa coaches and mga kasama ko na 'yung trust talaga na kahit anong mangyari, hindi nila ako pinabayaan. Total team effort talaga 'tong game na 'to super."
Tubu added that they are just enjoying the opportunity as Farm Fresh is a first timer in the semifinal round.
"Ako po personally, ine-enjoy ko po kasi ito 'yung first time namin dito. 'Yun nga po, walang mawawala sa amin — nakapasok kami ng Final Four — kung ibigay sa amin 'yung games, talagang tatrabahuhin namin."
