MANILA (UPDATED) — Farm Fresh took down PLDT in four sets, 25-23, 18-25, 25-19, 25-23, for its first win of the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Semifinals on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

With the victory, the Foxies' Finals aspirations got a boost, while the High Speed Hitters are now on the verge of elimination from title-contention.

Trisha Tubu primarily anchored the Farm Fresh win, firing 28 points on 26 attacks and two blocks—most importantly, she scored her team's five of its last seven points, including the game-winning attack that Alleiah Malaluan could not put up.

"Lagi kaming nire-remind ni coach [Koji Tsuzurabara] na challenger lang kami dito, so 'yun nga, 'yung pressure is wala sa amin," said the Adamson University product during the postgame press conference.

Ces Molina (12 points, nine digs) and Royse Tubino (10 points, 15 receptions) got Tubu's back, contributing in the offense and defense as well.

Now at 1-1, the Foxies now have a clearer pathway to the Finals, but stopping in their way is 10-time champion Creamline, which they are set to face on Thursday, April 16.

Meanwhile, before the gutsy run by Farm Fresh in Set 4, the High Speed Hitters were actually on pace to forcing another frame at 22-18, but they could not sustain the momentum.

The Rald Ricafort-coached squad—the first team to enter the semis and the top-seed by the end of the preliminary round—now faces a dire situation at 0-2. They now need Creamline to win over their sister team Cignal later in the day to stay in the hunt.

The offensive trio of Kim Kianna Dy, Savi Davison, and Malaluan exploded this afternoon, but proved to be not enough as they absorbed the four-set loss.

Dy had 20 points, Davison chipped in 18 points, while Malaluan followed her career-game last time around with a 17-point showing on Tuesday, although for the losing cause.
