MANILA – Get ready to see libero Jennifer Nierva in pink in the new Premier Volleyball League season.
The Creamline Cool Smashers bolstered their defense by signing the former Chery Tiggo Crossovers and Alas Pilipinas libero.
The Cool Smashers officially welcomed Nierva on its social media pages on Friday.
"At 166 cm, a battle-tested libero who plays with heart, grit, and control. A champion mindset. A steady presence on the court. Welcome to the GV-Kada, Jen Nierva," the post read.
Hours before the announcement, fans were abuzz after they spotted Nierva in a clip posted by Michele Gumabao from Creamline's training.
"What a blessing this opportunity is. I’m grateful to everyone who trusted me and thankful to those who supported me in this decision. I can’t wait to begin this new chapter with my Creamline and Rebisco family," she wrote on her Instagram.
Nierva was part of the now-defunct Chery Tiggo Crossovers from 2023 until its disbandment last December 2025.
The National University product seeks to reinforce the defense of the Cool Smashers, alongside veterans Alyssa Valdez, Jia de Guzman, Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, Kyle Negrito, Bea De Leon, and Pangs Panaga.
Creamline likewise tapped the services of Alas Pilipinas Men's coaching staff and former University of Santo Tomas standout Mark Alfafara to join the coaching staff led by Sherwin Meneses.
"Meet Coach Mark Alfafara, officially joining the Creamline Cool Smashers as our Stats Coach! From national team experience to a multi-awarded career, Coach Mark brings sharp insights and data-driven brilliance to help our pink volley belle," the team wrote.
