MANILA — Capital1 finally broke through the win column of the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.
The Solar Spikers fended off Nxled, 25-20, 23-25, 27-25, 25-12, on Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
They secured the triumph after dominating Set 4, banking on a 17-6 run from the 8-6 count that dictated the frame, concluded by a game-losing Chiara Permentilla net fault.
Ukranian import Oleksandra Bytsenko earned her first-ever Player of the Game honors by having 39 points anchored on 35 attacks, three blocks, and one ace to go with 17 excellent receptions, setting the standard further for the reinforcements currently playing in the PVL.

Top rookie Bella Belen contributed 15 points and 14 excellent digs in her first-ever victory in the pros, as coach Jorge de Brito also tallied his first win with the Solar Spikers.
Capital1 dominated the attacking department with 59 spikes, as the Chameleons only had 46. Blocking was also theirs, as the De Brito-supervised squad delivered 10 in total, while their rivals only had five.
"For me naman po, 'pag mo 'yung like role mo as a player and as a team, talagang 'yung energy and kung paano mag-celebrate, lumalabas talaga. Kumbaga kusa. parang gano'n," Belen said after the game.
On the other hand, Paola Martinez and Permentilla were the bright spots for Coach Ettore Guidetti after listing 20 and 18 points, respectively.
Capital1 aims for back-to-back victories against Farm Fresh on Tuesday, while Nxled dukes it out against a stronger Choco Mucho side on the same game date.
