MANILA — Trisha Tubu exploded for 21 big points as Farm Fresh scored a commanding 25-19, 25-20, 25-16 sweep of Cignal in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference on Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
It was a masterful performance for the opposite spiker, dealt on 19 attacks and two blocks, also tallying seven excellent digs.

Tubu knew she had to deliver and support their Belgian import, Eli Rousseaux, who debuted with a whopping 38-point performance last week.
"Kailangan ko rin mag-step up kasi 'yon nga, hindi kami puwedeng laging naka-asa lang kay Eli [Rousseaux], said Tubu. "Thankful ako nandiyan sina ate Ces [Molina] na sinasabi nila na papasahan ka namin, attack ka lang nang attack diyan, asa likod lang kami, magko-cover."
Rousseaux had 17 points and 11 excellent digs to add up to that Farm Fresh scoring.
This was the Foxies' best start in their franchise history at 2-0, after back-to-back wins, including a 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21 stoppage of Nxled on October 9.
On the other hand, Cignal fell to a disappointing 0-2 record in Pool B, as Greek import Eva Chantava paced their side with 13 points — the lone Super Spiker in twin-digit territory.
Farm Fresh seeks another win against Capital1 on Tuesday, while Cignal battles surging PLDT on the same game date.
