DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — American import Anna DeBeer is dreaming high with the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles.
DeBeer, a product of University of Louisville in the United States, is in her first overseas stint with the Thunderbelles at the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
And she's not just aiming for the bare minimum — the American standout wants to win it all with her team.
In just her first game in the PVL, DeBeer dropped a whopping 37 points, following a 38-point performance of fellow reinforcement Eli Rousseaux for Farm Fresh on Thursday.
"Obviously, as a team, we want to win this thing. And we're going to try our best to get there," said DeBeer on Saturday after stopping Chery Tiggo in Dasmariñas, 25-15, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23.
"I think that's why it's super exciting to be in an environment with such a great team, with great staff, and be around good people where it's fun to work hard every single day. So I'm really just excited on getting better and seeing how far we can go," she added.

One of the shorter imports in the PVL, DeBeer said she's not minding her height and just compete
"Obviously, I think in the U.S., we've kind of brought it out like height doesn't matter, so I really don't think about—I didn't even know I was one of the shorter ones, I guess," she said.

"But I think each game, I just work hard and try to work on the scout and try to figure out ways that we can get better from the last game."
Zus Coffee is now at 1-0 in Pool B, officially gaining its first win in the 2025 Reinforced Conference.
