As usual, Brooke Van Sickle led the team in scoring, listing 21 points on 18 attacks, two blocks, and an ace to go with 12 excellent digs, while Myla Pablo and Jonah Sabete had offensive contributions of 19 and 17 points.
For coach Koji Tsuzurabara, they had to communication and teamwork in the first set. But Sabete spelled the difference, "changing the atmosphere" of the team on the court in the next frame.

"I want to appreciate these two liberos. My team liberos, two liberos, too shy, no appeal. Difference [from] other team liberos--but always constant catch, constant defense, talking. So, today again, I appreciate these two liberos," Tsuzurabara said.
Fil-Canadan spiker Savi Davison's game-high 28-point outing was put to waste after the PLDT loss, now back-to-back after absorbing a defeat to Chery Tiggo the last time.
Petro Gazz still has one assignment left this year, against Cignal on December 14, while the High Speed Hitters, as this was their last task this December, have ended the year on a sour note.
