MANILA — Blackwater dealt Rain or Shine a 23-point beating to kickstart its PBA Season 50 Governors' Cup campaign on Saturday evening at the Ynares Center Montalban.
The Bossing, who eventually ran away with a 131-108 win, already had a 72-56 lead after two quarters.
It was all Blackwater in the match, as the Bossing avenged their massive loss against the Elasto Painters last conference. Import Kentrell Barkley delivered triple-double with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, leading three Blackwater players in 20-point territory.

Sedrick Barefield and RK Ilagan chipped 24 and 22 markers, respectively, while Dalph Panopio had a decent night of 19 points as well as seven rebounds.
On the other hand, Aaron Fuller led the losing cause with a 38-point, 15-rebound output, while Adrian Nocum had 17 markers as Rain or Shine dropped to 0-1 in Group B.
