Along with the Philippine style of basketball, Bol is also adjusting to the crowd and everything that comes with playing in the PBA.
The former Phoenix Suns player faced the media for the first time since the start of the mid-season conference.
"I’m getting used to the physicality. But most importantly playing with my teammates and me finding them and them finding me," he said at the post-game press conference.
Bol even went head-to-head with San Miguel big man June Mar Fajardo in the paint.
The TNT reinforcement gave credit to his Tropang 5G teammates, highlighting the need for a team effort to guard the reigning MVP.
"I knew it wouldn’t just take me cause he’s very physical. i just really give props to my teammates for helping me man the boards. and even when he has the ball just crowding him and making it hard for him," Bol said.
During the third quarter, Bol exchanged some words with San Miguel guard Chris Ross, who is known for being vocal even on the bench.
"It's just all talk, it’s part of the game. Nothing serious," Bol said, downplaying the exchange after the game.
Bol and TNT will get a brief rest before they see action again on April 7.
The Tropang 5G will face the Meralco Bolts at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
