MANILA — Meralco import Marvin Jones and local standout CJ Cansino led the Bolts' 109-88 romp over Converge in PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
The foreign player tallied 29 points and eight rebounds in his first PBA game, while the former UP Fighting Maroon chipped in 23 points while also garnering eight rebounds as the Bolts dealt the FiberXers' second loss in a row.
While the two stood out in terms of offense, coach Luigi Trillo made sure to give credit to everyone for chipping in as he spoke during the postgame press conference.

"Just overall, everybody that got fielded today was able to contribute," said Trillo.
Gilas Pilipinas star Chris Newsome was also a bright spot for Meralco, having contributed 19 points and five assists.
Meanwhile, Converge played without super rookie Juan Gomez de Liano, but Alec Stockton tried to lead the team with 18 points. Justin Arana had 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Justine Baltazar registered 12 points and 15 rebounds, with the twin towers completing double-doubles for the losing cause.
FiberXers reinforcement Kylor Kelly, for his part, was held to 13 markers, but still added nine boards.
