MANILA — Two men were killed while another survived after a landslide buried a “bulalo” shop in La Trinidad, Benguet on Thursday morning.
Police said the three were all cooks and in the kitchen when the landslide struck following days of heavy rains.
The survivor was rescued around 10 a.m., while the two other men died on the spot.
Other residents in the area were told to evacuate.
Tropical depression Maymay and the habagat are bringing heavy rains in vast swaths of the country on Thursday, state weather bureau PAGASA warned.
