In the iWant Original series “Will You Fake Marry Me?” June (Fyang Smith) enters a fake marriage with Ping (JM Ibarra) to secure her inheritance—only to ignite an unexpected chemistry and develop real feelings they never saw coming.

Adding more fun and spice to the story is Ping’s mischievous brother, Toto, played by Miguel Vergara. In the “I Do or I Don’t” challenge, Miguel shares his candid takes on relationships, blending humor with honesty.

When asked about posting couple misunderstandings online, Miguel quickly chose “I don’t,” emphasizing, “Feeling ko kapag meron kayong problem, dapat sa inyong dalawa lang ’yun.” He also shyly admitted that he finds it sweet when someone talks to him in a baby voice—even in public.

On the topic of spending the whole day on a video call even without a specific conversation, Miguel answered “I do.” “Kahit wala kayong pinag-uusapan, iba pa rin ‘yung time na binibigay n’yo sa isa’t isa,” he explained, adding that it doesn’t have to happen every day—sometimes, a quick morning or nighttime call is already enough.

Miguel was firm about not sharing social media passwords, saying, “’Yung privacy mo mawawala, social media [account] mo pa rin ’yun.” At the same time, he showed openness when it comes to transparency in relationships, answering “I do” to updating a partner about his whereabouts. For him, keeping a partner informed is important, but he believes there’s no need to ask for permission.

As for public versus private displays of sweetness, Miguel said he dislikes being treated like a best friend in private but showered with affection in public, as he believes it should be the other way around. When it comes to endearments, however, he was more receptive, saying he enjoys being called sweet names because they are another way of expressing admiration.

On the topic of jealousy, Miguel admitted that he actually likes it when his partner gets a little jealous if someone else spends time with him—though only up to a certain point. For him, it becomes more understandable when they sense that there is malice or a questionable intention behind the situation.

From there, the conversation shifted to cute couple moments on social media. Miguel shared that he enjoys posting and looking back on their sweet memories online, but ultimately believes it depends on the couple’s personal choices.

When it comes to daily texts, Miguel shared that he’s fine without constant “good morning” or “goodnight” messages. However, if his special someone prefers it, he’s willing to make the effort. Finally, Miguel revealed that he’s not a fan of wearing matching shirts when going out, especially if it feels unnecessary. Still, he’s willing to go along with it if his partner asks.
