As Manila Telebalita reporter Salvador Manalo (Rey Campanilla) shares to his cameraman and close friend Oli (Neil Coleta) about the management's offer for him to be the host of a new TV program their station is yet to produce, their Boss Arnel (Chet Pastrana) asks him to do an exposé targeting the NLEA and former PMGEN Ricardo Jacinto (Edu Manzano).
With public interest in the controversy continuing to grow, Arnel urges Salvador to keep the issue alive. He further instructs him to report straight from Ginintuang Lupa, so viewers can feel more his report as he exposes and attacks Ricardo with scathing, aggressive, and, above all, hard-hitting criticism.
As Salvador and Oli carry out the assignment, they are unaware that their report has already reached Ricardo. Enraged by Salvador's biting exposé and bold challenge, which cause him to lose a prospective investor for the leisure hub he has been planning to build at the soil of Ginintuang Lupa after it backs out upon watching Salvador's report, he immediately contacts PLTCOL Romulo Domingo (Art Acuña) to do something about it.
Running out of patience with Salvador and fearing that the relentless criticism could jeopardize both his upcoming business venture and the reputation he has built throughout his years as a police general, Ricardo orders Col. Domingo to put an end to their problem.
Col. Domingo immediately relays the order to his trusted subordinates, PCPT Melchor Umali (Joko Diaz) and PMSg Santos (Lauren Novero)—Salvador must be silenced once and for all. However, it's not the police who will carry out the job themselves, as it is revealed through Capt. Umali that they will enlist the services of the notorious gang leaders Paquito (Rez Cortez) and Django (Jhong Hilario).
Before dismissing them, Col. Domingo stresses that the mission must succeed, making it clear that he expects to deliver nothing but good news to former Gen. Jacinto the next time they will speak with each other.
