And for the July 19 episode, she once again captivated everyone with a stirring rendition of one of her well-loved hits, "Tanging Mahal," thrilling the crowd gathered at the Victorias City Coliseum—the first out-of-town stop of the musical variety show's latest iteration.
From the very moment that Regine stepped onto the stage, the live audience welcomed her with exhilaration as they didn't only give her a resounding round of applause but also savored every moment of her heartfelt song number. The venue was then filled with loud cheers towards the end of her performance, especially when she hit the high notes.
Released in 2001 as part of her album "Pangako Ikaw Lang," the aforementioned song served as one of the official soundtracks of the romantic comedy flick—not to mention the highest-grossing Filipino film of the said year—"Pangako Ikaw Lang"—that she headlined opposite Aga Muhlach.
