An intense shootout and chaos erupted inside the Jade Imperial Club after the cover of the NCIA agents was blown during their mission to capture their targets—gold smuggling syndicate leader Victor “Tigre” Zafra (JM de Guzman) and his client, Mr. Chan (Mike Castillo), who had just completed their transaction.
The groups of Victor and Mr. Chan may have managed to escape from the NCIA agents, led by Sam (Julia Montes), during the tense car chase and exchange of gunfire, but not from Gabo (Coco Martin), who pursued them all the way to a multi-level parking building.
Despite being clearly outnumbered and alone, Gabo still faced Victor’s group with utmost confidence and bravery, turning to the lucky coin that his father had given him to determine what could be the fate awaiting him in the impending battle. If the coin landed on heads, he would take it as a sign that he would survive the battle. However, if the tails appeared, it would mean that he might never return home alive.
Believing that he would come out alive in the skirmish after the coin landed on the heads, Gabo gained the courage to fight Victor’s men by himself and accomplish his first mission with Anino. He managed to take all of them down one-by-one with a pair of expandable batons as his only weapons, then eventually switched to a baseball bat that he had taken from one of the goons and used it in his skirmish with Victor.
Sam eventually arrived and fought against Victor’s remaining lackeys on her own. Meanwhile, Victor attempted to escape once again by jumping off the building, despite Gabo’s warning about the danger. Just as he was about to leap, Gabo managed to stop him by wrapping a fire hose around him and catching him by the neck. Refusing to be captured, Victor jumped anyway, forcing Gabo to improvise. He tied the remaining rolls of the hose around a concrete block to create a pulley system before jumping from the ledge as well.
The move caused Victor to be pulled back onto the ledge, where Sam and fellow NCIA agent Seb (JC de Vera) were waiting to pull him up and place him under arrest. Gabo, on the other hand, descended to the ground floor and immediately sprinted away to avoid the gunshots of Sam and Seb. As he lost Victor to the authorities, Gabo left very disappointed.
