While a great deal of action in “Blood vs Duty” takes place in various locations, the S. Trinidad Hospital enriches the realistic storyline even further, particularly through the expressive characters of Jamilah (Barbie Imperial), Gracia (Kolette Madelo), and Peter (Tamerlane Mopia).
Starting out as a multi-awarded entrepreneur to being dubbed “Alaska Boy” in “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” Tamerlane embarked on a new path in the spotlight as Nurse Peter in “Blood vs Duty.”
In one of his recent Instagram posts, Tamerlane excitedly shared fun-filled pictures with his best buddies Barbie and Kolette, each of them beaming with joy and striking playful poses while wearing their medical scrubs.
Barbie’s, Kolette’s, and Tamerlane’s bonds are truly showcased in episode 55, where they looked after one another throughout the awful incident of Jamilah almost being abducted by Felix’s (Baron Geisler) henchmen.

The positivity on the set extended from the trio to their fellow castmates, including Bodjie Pascua (who plays General Carillo), Susan Africa (who portrays Teresa Reyes), and Lei Ang (also known as Raquel, General Carillo’s secretary), who were all present for Tamerlane’s video.
Along with their amusing banters and relatable friendship dynamics, the trio previously went through intense scenes in the show, specifically throughout the hostage situation triggered by Metal 13 in the hospital.

Sure enough, Barbie wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to treasure her close connection with Susan. In an earlier Instagram story, the two took a lovely selfie shortly after their daily duties as Nurse Jamilah and Doctor Teresa.
Much like a proud mother figure, Susan also posted an adorable picture with real-life couple Barbie and Richard Gutierrez (who plays Agent Marcus Reyes), with the latter actor being Susan’s son in the show. Barbie then sweetly commented, addressing her as “Mama.”
